Douglas Morel
Douglas Morel discovered the art of perfumery at a young age. Born in northern France, he was inspired by the spices and aromas from his kitchen[10]. His first olfactory memory was in a Damascus bazaar, experiencing scents of cinnamon, cumin, and freshly ground cardamom. After studying at ISIPCA, Morel apprenticed at Takasago, working with renowned perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. He later moved to Amsterdam, starting as a trainee perfumer and assisting architects with an Amsterdam-based creation laboratory. Morel's style is influenced by his fascination with ingredients and cooking. He has created fragrances for niche brands like The House of Oud, including 'Bonbon Pop' from their 'Crazy' collection.
