Luca Gritti

Luca Gritti is a self-taught perfumer and the founder of Gritti Fragrances, established in 2009. As a descendant of the noble Venetian Gritti dynasty, he draws inspiration from his family's rich history in Italian perfumery and spice trading. Gritti's creative approach is characterized by bold, breathtaking fragrances that redefine niche perfumery. His style often incorporates spicy notes, a technique linked to his family's historical involvement in the spice trade[10]. The Black Collection, launched in 2009, showcases Gritti's creative evolution and his particular style of working with different perfume genres[10]. One of his notable creations is 'Monica', a fragrance originally crafted as a personal gift for his wife and later released to the public.
