Nathalie Feisthauer

Nathalie Feisthauer is a renowned French perfumer whose career spans over three decades. Her passion for scents was ignited at 16 when she discovered Yves Saint Laurent's Opium. Feisthauer made history in 1983 as the first trainee without a perfumery background to join the prestigious Roure (now Givaudan) school in Grasse. She worked for major companies like Givaudan and Symrise before establishing her independent lab, LABScent, in Montmartre in 2014. Feisthauer's style is characterized by her ability to translate emotions and cultural nuances into scents, drawing inspiration from her global travels. She has created fragrances for brands such as Hermès, Cartier, and Etat Libre d'Orange. Notable creations include Eau des Merveilles for Hermès and Putain des Palaces for Etat Libre d'Orange. Feisthauer has received multiple FIFI awards, including Perfumer of the Year in 2019, and continues to innovate in niche perfumery.
