
Nathalie Lorson
Nathalie Lorson is a renowned French perfumer born in Grasse, the perfume capital of the world. Her father's work as a chemist in the fragrance industry inspired her career path. Lorson studied at the Roure Perfumery School (now Givaudan) and began her career at IFF in 1987. Since 2000, she has been working with Firmenich. With over 35 years of experience, Lorson has created numerous successful fragrances for luxury brands and celebrities, including Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana, and Lalique. Her style is versatile, often incorporating her favorite ingredients like rose, patchouli, vanilla, and pepper. Lorson's notable creations include Lalique Encre Noire and YSL Black Opium. She has received several accolades, including Perfumer of the Year in Italy and France (2015) and the Best Fragrance of Artistic Perfumery award (2018) for Altaia Tuberose in Blue EDP.
