Stéphanie Bakouche
Stéphanie Bakouche is an independent perfumer based in Grasse, France. She discovered her passion for perfumery at a young age and pursued her dream by studying at ISIPCA. Bakouche gained experience working for prestigious houses like Givaudan, Takasago, and Hermès Parfum before founding her own laboratory, Sensaba, in 2017. She is known for creating fragrances for niche brands such as Parfums MDCI, L'Artisan Parfumeur, and Maison Crivelli. Bakouche's style is characterized by artistic expression and bold proposals. Her breakthrough came with 'Invasion Barbare' for Parfums MDCI, which became a cult favorite. She is an active member of the Osmothèque and teaches at the École Supérieure du Parfum. Bakouche's work is influenced by visual arts, architecture, and culinary experiences, and she often explores contrasts in her creations.
