Meabh McCurtin

Meabh McCurtin is an Irish perfumer at IFF. Raised near the sea in western Ireland, she draws inspiration from nature, travel and personal encounters. Her path combined science with creative exploration. Before joining IFF, she worked with perfumer Daniel André in Switzerland.

For Bastille, she created 14 Juillet, exploring the contrast between fireworks and vanilla. For Scents of Wood, she composed Bread in Chestnut: a gourmand fragrance that brings together the toasted warmth of bran, creamy sandalwood and tonka bean, balanced by rosemary and smoky frankincense.
